Get your Social Media sorted
for the year – in ONE day

Social Media is an important part of anyone’s online marketing strategy and it can certainly be part of your sales strategy too.

Regular posts can help you to:
* establish yourself as an expert
* increase your organic SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and come up higher on Google
* subtly stay in touch with your customers and prospects
* and give your prospects relevant information when they look you up online

But as busy business owners, we don’t always have the time to create regular posts and develop useful and relevant content. So you have two options: hire someone else to do it for you, or come on this workshop and do it yourself in one day.

In this workshop, you are going to create a social media presence that doesn’t take up too much time but still delivers the basic results you would want from it.

I have laid out the exact process we are going to use in my Social Media Guide, which you are very welcome to read for free and implement yourself.

But I know from experience that most people don’t do it, which is why this Implementation Workshop is perfect, as you will get my help and guidance, as well as support from other business owners, and you will get it DONE – in one day!

You will come away with one month’s worth of daily social media posts written AND scheduled to go out, as well as a plan to create the full 3 month’s worth if you want to.

So if you’re ready to get stuff done, book yourself onto the workshop now. Your future self will thank you for it!

Book early, and take advantage of the Early Bird price, or bring a colleague or other business owner and get the very best price.

What’s included:
* Coffee & tea throughout the day
* Lunch à la carte (all dietary requirements catered for)
* Free parking
* Outside the Bristol Clean Air charging Zone
* 30-minute follow up session on Zoom
* Ongoing email support afterwards

What’s NOT included:
* SocialPilot subscription ($30 per month)
* Images to use (although I’ll tell you where to get free ones)
* Canva PRO subscription (the free version can do most things but you may want to upgrade – £100 p/a)

Other benefits
Here’s what previous attendees have said are some of the benefits of attending this workshop:
* Clarity about your business
* Getting a system in place that you can use in the future
* Brainstorming around themes
* Help with using Canva and SocialPilot
* Being ‘nailed to a chair’ to get things written
* Having a month’s worth of content written and scheduled to go out the next day

I got loads of value out of the workshop in many different areas, and actually having a month’s worth of posts written and scheduled to go out the next day was a very rewarding outcome.

COME PREPARED

Although you can just turn up on the day with your laptop, you will be able to get going more quickly if you come prepared. Below is a list of things that are good to have to hand or set up. Don’t worry if you don’t have it, we can work it out on the day too.

Social Media Accounts login details
It is entirely up to you what Social Media you want to post to. Whether it’s just LinkedIn or the whole shebang (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), just make sure that you have the login details for each of them.
Company colour scheme
It’s useful to know the RGB and hex (#) references of your Company Colour Scheme. If you don’t know them, you can upload an image into HTML Color Codes and that will give you the hex reference. You can then go to this website to find out the RGB references.
Images
If you have any (professional) images of yourself or your business, make sure you have access to them too. At the very least you’ll want to have your logo and possibly a good headshot of yourself.
Google Drive
You will need to have a Google Drive set up and ready to go. If you don’t already have one, please go to drive.google.com and set one up. The free version should be enough (unless you already use it in which case you might need more storage). Also, make sure that you know what email address you have linked to it – I will need this to be able to share documents with you.
Canva
Get yourself a (free) account from www.canva.com, which we will use to create your images.
SocialPilot
I highly recommend that you use SocialPilot for all your scheduling. It’s the best in the market and will allow you to schedule up to 1,000 posts in less than a minute. You can use other ones, but they all take longer to schedule. In the workshop, we will be focusing on the use of SocialPilot, as that means we will be able to schedule there and then. But if you prefer to use another scheduler, you can still create the posts and then schedule them yourself later. Please sign up* for the free 14-day trial of the Professional Plan and connect the accounts that you want to use.
ChatGPT
We will use ChatGPT for content inspiration, so please register with chat.openai.com and have it set up and ready to go.
Testimonials
Testimonials are great for sharing on social media, so if you have any, bring them along. This can be in any format, from LinkedIn recommendations to Google reviews to website testimonials. Ideally, you want at least 7 different ones (but don’t worry if you have fewer than that – we can make anything work).
Laptop, charger and mouse
We will be doing a lot of copy-and-paste work, so if possible, please bring a mouse for your laptop, as this makes life a lot easier. You might also want to bring an extension cable just in case, although we should have enough in the room.

* As I am constantly recommending SocialPilot because I genuinely believe it’s the best option out there, I decided to see if they had an affiliate scheme, which they did. So now I will get a small commission from everyone who signs up through the link on my website. You are of course free to sign up directly, or to use a different scheduler alltogether.
